The Scene
Located in the parking lot of Cahoon Hollow Beach, it features an outdoor patio and bar, live music and plenty of summer spirit. At night, it takes on more of a club atmosphere; during daylight hours, you're just as likely to find a family atmosphere. You can't actually see the ocean from the restaurant, but you can walk to the end of the parking lot for spectacular views. Most sun worshippers spend the day on the beach, then make the trek up the sand dune for much-needed refreshment.
The Food
The basics--burgers, fried clams, sandwiches and the raw bar--are always a safe bet. A handful of salads, seafood platters and single-serving pizzas are also available. A full bar provides frozen drinks to cool you off after a day at the beach.

The restaurant features one of the best raw bars we've seen - the local oysters and littlenecks couldn't be fresher, or tastier. The menu offers fish 'n chips, fried clams, yummy chowder, lobster, etc. etc. This is one of the main reasons we go to Cape Cod - to gorge ourselves on all of the seafood we can eat! The frozen drinks (mudslides and margaritas) are the perfect thirst quencher on a hot day. The atmosphere during the day is casual (many people come right off the beach), and the attentive and friendly staff go out of their way to make your experience there an enjoyable one. The croud is a mix of families, couples, and singles. At night the place rocks with some of the areas best bands. (usually starts around 10pm) We've seen Dick Dale, Toots and the Mayals, and Burning Spear, to name a few.
Pros: raw bar, service, beach
Cons: parking (sometimes), hard hike up the hill

We've been going to the Beachcomber for 15 years. It's the best restaurant nightclub on Cape Cod. And it's on Cape Cod's best beach! Located in the pristine Cape Cod National Seashore... truly unique. The building sits atop 100ft dunes with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The food and drinks are terrific. Very reasonably priced. Mud slide frozen drinks are to-die-for. The service is outstanding. We love the raw bar. Local oysters shucked to order... heaven-on-earth. The entertainment is fantastic. Great bands like Dick Dale, Buffalo Tom, Burning Spear, many more! Local favorites Incredible Casuals pack the house every Sunday for 25 years! The beach has good waves for boogie boarding and surfing. The parking lot fills up by noon... get there early! Breathtaking views, great food, fabulous service, terrific entainment on Cape Cod's best beach!
Pros: beach, food drinks, entertainment
Cons: limited parking
