In Short – A great beach for the whole family, Sandy Neck has seven miles of sand dunes sheltering all kinds of nesting sea birds. With a gentle surf, it's perfect for long walks. The shallows provide snorkelers and divers the opportunity to see swirling groups of fish. During the summer, striped bass often come within a few feet of the beach and occasionally will take food from a diver's hand.
