i cant believe what i saw.
I came to this establishment to get my daughter a pair of ear rings. as we walk in everything seems normal until i notice movement in the back room of a open door, I look in to to ask for service when my daughter and I witnessed a employee by the name of Matt performing fellatio on another man...this place is very unprofessional and I recommend it to nobody....this was just disturbing
I just got my tragus pierced the other day by Matt at Pin Cushion and I absolutely love it! For the record, this is my first piercing I've had done with a needle. He was very informative up front, letting me know how to care for it, and he answered all my questions very thoroughly. When it came time to actually pierce it, the whole process was very sterile and quick. The whole trip only took approximately twenty minutes, with the piercing taking about six. So far I've had no problems with it, and if I do, it'll probably be because I touch it too much, not because of how he pierced it. I would definitely recommend coming here.
I love Hyannis and have been going to the pincushion for years whenever I come to visit my parents. When they did my belly ring I had to have it re-done at another shop. They did a very poor job, it was crooked. I still came back thinking well these things can happen. I just bought a really nice belly ring for $30.00 two weeks ago. Now I live 2 hours away and when I got home I went to try it on. The ball crumbled in my hands. I just came to Hyannis for a visit and stopped in thinking that I would just exchange it for one that wasn't defective. I was promptly told that I broke it and there was no way I was getting an exchange. He was rude and disrespectful. He kept telling me that it was my fault and no matter what I said he would not listen to the fact that it fell apart in my hands. He said no refund, exchanges or credits EVER.
The Only Place I'll Ever Go.
I've had my cartalige, industrial, belly button, and tongue all done at Pin Cushion. I love the place and the people that work there dearly. I would never go anywhere else for a piercing. I always ask for Brian, he's my favorite there. I've never had a problem with infection, migration, rejection, etc.. with any of the piercings I've had done there. Everything has healed very fast. I can't say it enough, I'd never go anywhere else.
Do they know what they're doing? I'm not so sure....
I went to the Pin Cushion to get my helix pierced. It was a pretty standard type piercing so I wasn't worried, but I made sure to ask both the girl at the front desk and the piercer himself if my sensitive ears would need a different kind of post. I can only wear "sensitive" type earrings in my lobes, but they assured me the surgical steel would cause no complications.
My ear because somewhat infected, not enough to take out the earring, but enough to constantly hurt. I visited the pincushion twice, and they still told me it wasn't the post causing it. I tried a course of anti-biotics. The ear got much better- I could actually sleep on that side for a few weeks, but the infection came back.
Finally, I switched out the earring for a gold post, and the infection was gone completely.
I know many people have sensitive ears, and some who can only wear gold or platinum. The fact that the folks at the Pin Cushion didn't know this means I'll never visit them again. They seemed to be clean and professional, just not overly knowledgeable about what they were doing. Buyer Beware,
