Brewster Fish House

Really Great Food on the Cape. I recently visited Cape Cod in July 2007. During my 5 night stay in Brewster, MA, we dined at the Brewster Fish House twice. Get there early (5pm) to avoid a wait. It's a small place with no more than 13 tables.

It is somewhat casual but the food is fine dining. The salmon with horseradish mash potatoes, heirloom tomatoes and shaved fennel was amazing. The 2nd night I had the grilled flat iron beef dish with mash, mushrooms and green peppercorn sauce. I didn't expect the 2nd time to be as good as the first, but I was wrong. The seafood chowder is just ok (too buttery and creamy). The skate (my hubby's dish) was good as well. The striped bass dish was just good. Go here now! You won't be disappointed.…
