When good places go bad..keep driving other places just up 6A.. This place has definitely changed ownership which is marked by a decline in service, food quality, and hygene. Ate here about 3 years ago and what a different experience. Service took his time to get to the table, too busy watching the Olympics at the bar. No seriously, should have taken that 1st hint and ran. Lunch came and was warm at best, fish was limp, flavorless, and smelled...fishy. Took 2 promptings to get check and had to find someone to make change because this time he was watching the 16 year old hostess. Bathrooms under an inch of water and smelled like sewer, which is exactly how lobster tank smelled. I think they get a lot of one time visits to keep them in business, as I don't see anyone coming back again

SEAFOOD FAMILY- EXPENSIVE, TERRIBLE FOOD, GOOD SERVICE. REALLY LOUSY RESTURAUNT, AWFUL FOOD, OVER PRICED - GOOD SERVICE - BUT NOT WORTH IT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES- MISS IT

Great Family Restaurant. Fresh Seafood, You can pick your lobster out of a smaller wooden boat in the middle of the restaurant, The ambiance is great. My daughter ordered a kids meal and it came out in a plastic bucket with shovel that you can use at the beach..very creative may I add! My sister and her boyfriend had margaritas and they LOVED THEM!!! I am comming back to Cape Cod Next Weekend and I am definetly comming back to the Lobster Shanty. I went on my computer to restaurant dot com and purchased a $25.00 gift certificate for $10.00 so if anyone wants to try that out you will definetly save on a great restaurant!!
