Tips for Rookie's Family Restaurant

Bad.
Rookies make Friendly's seem gourmet. The few times we've tried it we've vowed never to eat there again, and friends of ours have concurred independently. It's a family restaurant, decor from out of the 1950's. When I got a cheeseburger for $9 - i was surprised when it came with a bag of chips instead of french fries (that's extra). The meat was poor quality, like it had been kept frozen for months. I was the only diner at the time, yet the waitress never noticed my glass iced tea was empty - even as she brought me that burger. On a previous visit, i had the mealiest serving of pork chops i'd ever eaten. Our experience is such that Rookies sets the standard for lowest quality dining on the upper Cape.
