Address Correction.
The correct address for Longfellow's Pub in South Yarmouth is 182 Old Townhouse Road/ 1-A Old
Townhouse Plaza~South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
And for the record, the place has been under new management for quite some time, as well as had a very much needed facelift, so these VERY outdated reviews DO NOT reflect the current operation of this establishment. Furthermore, the people who work at the Pub are extremely dedicated individuals who take much pride in the food, which by the way is excellent & affordable. So please update your records and perhaps delete these old, outdated and unfavorable reviews.
Thank you very much.

absolute disappointment.
This place was terrible. We arrived at 6:45 after a long drive to try the lobster special that they advertised for Monday and Wednesday nights. We were informed that they had no lobsters. they had not sold enough the previous week so they under-ordered for this advertised special and seemed indifferent that we had driven several miles just for this advertised special. I ordered a beer before my meal and found it to be luke-warm and almost undrinkable. I ordered the prime rib and clam chowder. The clam chowder came out and it was cold. I did not complain, I just noted this as really a poor place to eat.
My wife had tried to order a special accomodation item of scallops or shrimp without the sides as she has had recent surgery and can not consume the add-ons. We have driven across the entire United States from Washington State and have relied upon restaurants the entire way. 95% of all restaurants accomodate this dietary requirement but not Longfellow's, our exceedingly rude waitress was unwilling to help us out here at all.
When my prime rib came (I ordered medium rare), it was cold. I complained and she took it back to the kitchen and they apparently poured warm aus-jus sauce over it hoping that it would satisfy me. the exceedingly rude waitress told me that any time one orders prime rib medium rare that it will always be cold. I know better of course as I cook this dish often at home. She was the rudest and most indifferent, argumentative waitress we have ever encountered. If I were running this place, she would have been fired on the spot. I will never return obviously and I certainly would caution anyone else that plans to dine there to give my comments serious thought.

great spot.
If you're looking for a beer and a burger or steak, longfellows is a sure shot. It's a very low key environment during the week and gets a little louder on fridays and saturday nights. Their focus is pub food with great seafood specials. I've only had the brunch once but I'd definitely do it again.

Baf Service ugly place.
The food was good, but not good enough to give them your hard earned money. The server was horrible, the place is a true dive. I'm local and there are much better places to eat in the area.

Local Cape Cod Flavor.
A raucous mix of locals and wash ashores all seeking a good time. Inexpensive and well rounded menu (especially recommend Cajun Ribeye). Service is excellent.

An out of the way gem.
Friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar. Food is generally good and priced moderately. Excellent entertainment on weekends with a superb karoke
singer. You'll go away wondering why so much talent in such a far away spot.
