Best value on Cape Cod. Paid $140 for two beds on the weekend when other nearby hotels were quoting me about $200. So glad I booked a room at the Barnacle because the room was fantastic and the managers were some good guys too, very helpful and nice. Recommended some good beaches. Other reviews mentioned bed bugs and a smelly room so I was a little scared to book but I didn't encounter any of those while here. I recommend staying here and will be coming back.

TERRIBLE PLACE WITH BED BUGS. STAYED HERE ONE NIGHT. THE OWNER WAS DRUNK LOBBY SMELT LIKE ALCOHOL AND HAD THREE GIRLS IN HIS ROOM CARING ON WITH THIER TOPS UNDONE WHEN THEY PEEKED OUT THE DOOR.PEOPLE FIGHTING AND CAREING ON ALL NIGHT, DONT DO IT BAD PLACE TO STAY.

Under Investigation by Dept of Health due to Bedbugs. We had a nice stay, but after checking out we realized we had been bitten over 30+ times. The doctor identified these as bedbug bites. We talked to the manager but he refused to refund us our money and denied that there was a pest problem. We reported the motel to the Chamber of Commerce and Dept of Public Health in Dennis, MA, and the hotel is now under investigation by the Dept of Public Health. Reading other online reviews, this problem seems to have been going on for several years but the hotel has not dealt with it. If you have had issues with bedbugs you can report them to the Dennis Health Dept, 508-760-6158, which would help with the investigation.

Wonderful place to stay. Business stay, shall vacation here with the wife and kids in the near future. Found the staff to be courteous, suggested excellent restaurants in the region. Impressed with the size and comfort of the rooms, cleanliness and above par housekeeping services. Able to recommend to the most discriminating fellow traveler.

Much to do in this area. The owner, a nice chap, recommended a beautiful place, the West Dennis Beach, for a place to read my morning paper and have coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed the waterfront and chatting with people there.

Private, comfortable and quiet, had Internet connection, no time for the pool yet, but it looked inviting, as did the patio.

Quite accomodating with extra linen, all amenities near the motel.

I will note that a wedding party was staying there with guests, seemed to be having a lovely stay as well.
