Avoid this place! Do NOT waste your money here.. There is a serious and angry undercurrent of intolerance, not only amongst some of the customers, but also sanctioned (encouraged?) by management. These 'ladies' give women a bad name with their complete lack of basic courtesy and respect for any human being not of the lesbian persuasion. In a town that prides itself on tolerance, shame on you PiedBar. If your aim is an all-female clientele, do the honorable thing and make it members-only. Don't collect the money of the straights and the men that cross your doorstep, and then do next to nothing to serve them, or worse, antagonize and railroad them out for nothing but their gender or sexual preference. Reverse discrimination holds no moral high ground on any other kind.

Would-be patrons should also be forewarned: service is rude and inattentive. Drinks are over-priced, underwhelming, and arrive at a glacial pace. Neither is the establishment particularly clean. Better to head to the Crown & Anchor, where people of every stripe can enjoy a convivial and tolerant atmosphere. Rarely have I seen such camaraderie as evoked by Bobby Wetherbee on the piano. Or, catch dinner at The Mews - the lobster risotto is out of this world.
