Awesome Time at the Improper

I love the Improper and go quite frequently with my girlfirends. We buy the season pass because you dont have to pay the cover with the pass - totally worth it.

The bands they have are great, the place is fun and I think anyone who doesnt think they should have to pay a cover should go to the neighborhood watering hole!

You get what you pay for, if you want a better crowd of people and better entertainment you will pay a cover.

Always a blast at the improper keep it up!

• Cons: the line to get in was worth the wait

dont pay their bills

If you are a contractor and are asked to work dont do it they do not pay have tried to get paid for work done over 6 months ago and they refuse to pay so if you do work for them get paid up front or good luck getting anything

Fun relaxed place

Love the Improper since the new owners took over - lots of live music - Entrain plays there alot, great band! Friendly bartender (at least the one I talked to) no 'attitude' at the door. Interesting crowd the 2 times I've been there this year (2008).

• Pros: Plenty of parking - not snobby attitude at the door
• Cons: can't think of anything

Was pleasantly suprised!

Huge bar....3 actually. Impressed with the number of flat screens and the entertainment of 2 bands. Had a great time in the lounge downstairs dancing to Night Train. Check out this band! Glad that there is a great place like this to go on the Lower Cape.

Don't know what the other 2 reviewers are talking about. New owners - much nicer with their updates. Cool TV's. My friends and I had an awesome time there last weekend. It will be even more fun this summer. They have Jim Plunkett. What more could you ask for at a bar called the Improper Bostonian. Fun.

avoid on weekdays

Be aware, they charge a $5 cover on a Monday night during the offseason on Cape Cod. Talking about rip off city! On the positive side, Shango plays there on Thursdays and they rock!

dont waste your time

so many other places so dont waste your time! it is out of the way and much more hyped up than what it actually is. if you do go watch your bill for unknown charges!
